Address
About 700 m from the Ho Chi Minh statue outside City Hall down to the river; the café apartment block is at No. 42

A wide car-free boulevard with the yellow City Hall and a Ho Chi Minh statue at the top end. In daytime the sun empties it, but after dark it turns into the city's living room: buskers, selfie sticks, kids on scooters. Halfway down, the tired nine-storey block at No. 42 has been taken over floor by floor by tiny cafés and gift shops, known as the café apartments; a balcony seat up top looks over the street lights towards the river. Around Tet the whole street becomes a flower street.
