Potters have fired bowls here for over 600 years, and lanes are lined with kilns and shops. In the workshops you can watch a potter throw a bowl up close, and many places let you try the wheel yourself. The village is walkable in two or three hours. A city bus gets you there, so it works as an easy half day.
