The building blends Chinese rooflines with French planning in classic Indochinese style. The route runs from prehistoric stone tools through Dong Son bronze drums of the first millennium BC to ceramics and court objects of the Ly, Tran and Nguyen dynasties. Get close to the birds and warriors etched on the drum faces. The chronological route is easy to follow and it sits beside the Opera House.
