Stone steps climb from the jetty to a gap in the cliff barely wide enough for one person. Squeeze through and the ceiling lifts away into a huge hall, which is where the name, roughly 'Surprise Cave', comes from. Inside it splits into two big chambers, with a lit path winding between stalactites and stalagmites. At the exit a terrace looks down over the anchored boats, and everyone stops for the same photo. Allow 40 minutes to an hour.
