Most of the building is buried in the hillside, so from the woods you only see a glass roof. Inside, daylight spills down the stairwells into galleries hung with Monet, Renoir and Cézanne. 2026 marks 100 years since Monet's death and the museum's 25th birthday, so 'The New Vision: Monet and the Contemporary Gaze' runs until 7 April 2027. Afterwards, walk the forest trail out back, where artworks hide among the beeches.
