A small promontory pushed out into the lake, where an imperial villa once stood. It is a park now, and free. From the best spots Lake Ashi and Mt Fuji sit in one frame. Part of the old villa stands as a viewing building, and the garden changes with the season. It is an easy stop on the walk between Moto-Hakone and the Hakone checkpoint.
