A classic hotel that opened in Miyanoshita in 1878. The wooden buildings, including the 1891 main building, are still standing, and it reopened in July 2020 after a long renovation. The high-ceilinged main dining room, the Bar Victoria and Kikka-so, a garden restaurant in a former imperial villa, make the hotel itself worth wandering. The onsen is shared and the rooms are Western, with beds.
