Address
Victoria Street curves down from George IV Bridge into the open square of the Grassmarket

Shopfronts painted red, blue and green follow a bow-shaped slope, with joke shops, cheesemongers and vintage stores at street level and a raised terrace above where you can look down on the crowd. People call it the real Diagon Alley, so there's always someone posing mid-street. At the bottom, the Grassmarket was once a cattle market and execution site; now it's lined with pubs and terraces, with the castle hanging right overhead.
