A small stone chapel begun in 1446, and inside there's barely an uncarved inch. Vines, angels and over a hundred Green Men, faces sprouting leaves from their mouths, hide on every pillar, and the spiralling Apprentice Pillar is the star. It's where The Da Vinci Code ends, and visitor numbers jumped after the film. Each time slot includes a short guide talk, which is good for sorting legend from history.
