- Tickets
- Free
- Address
- The pedestrian street running just over a kilometre from City Hall Square to Kongens Nytorv
Closed to cars in 1962, Strøget is one of Europe's longest pedestrian shopping streets. The City Hall end is chains and souvenir shops; the closer you get to Kongens Nytorv, the more luxury labels. In the middle, on Amagertorv by the Stork Fountain, the Royal Copenhagen flagship and Illums Bolighus stand side by side for Danish porcelain and furniture. The side lanes off the main drag hold more of the small design shops and cafés.
