A 56-room resort in the Pong Yaeng hills behind Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Buildings and villas under red Lanna roofs step down a valley slope above a stream, and it's steep enough that you call an electric cart to get around. The mountain air, hot-spring spa and forest pool earn it plenty of glowing reviews, but there is truly nothing around it.
