Open since 1995, the resort sits 30–40 minutes north of town inside the Mae Sa Valley. Its centrepiece is a working rice paddy, so buffalo and ducks wander past at breakfast, ringed by Lanna-style pavilion rooms and pool villas. With two pools, a spa and the Thai restaurant KHAO on site, plenty of guests never leave. It's awkward for sightseeing in town, but reviewers heading for the elephant camps, orchid farms and Mon Chaem say the location actually saves them driving.
