Open since 1993, this is Mactan's old guard: 530 rooms, big gardens, two pools and a private beach. The water off the beach is full of fish, so you hear kids snorkelling all day. Rooms split between the Main Wing and the Ocean Wing (refreshed in 2013), and the older rooms do get called dated. Still, praise for staff and breakfast is overwhelming, which is why families on their first Cebu trip tend to start here.
