In restored halls, lamps, ceramics, carved wood and metalwork from across the Islamic world are laid out in sequence. The cases of glass mosque lamps are the ones that stop you in your tracks. The inlay and glasswork are so dense that an hour disappears. It is also air-conditioned, which helps at midday.
