The city museum stands right beside the UN Peace Park, and the permanent exhibits cost nothing. Dongnae Hall runs from the Paleolithic to Goryeo; Busan Hall covers Joseon and the city's modern story. A basement culture room has tea ceremony and costume activities, which kids tend to like. Add a stroll through the park and you have a comfortable half-day.
