A small inn and bistro on a cobbled Castle Hill lane that bills itself as Budapest's oldest, serving guests since 1696. Under low vaulted ceilings it serves home-style plates: beef pörkölt, roast duck leg, onion-topped rostélyos. One of the few places to eat properly after Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church without going back down the hill.
