The restaurant has sat in this Baroque house since 1831 and took its name in 1931, the centenary. In the evening a cimbalom-and-strings quartet works the room. The menu is the Hungarian textbook: goulash, chicken paprikash, roast goose leg. Reviews swing on the cooking from night to night, so you are paying for the room more than for the plate.
