The Mauerpark was laid out on the Wall's old death strip, and every Sunday a huge flea market sets up beside it. You'll find East German crockery, old records, vintage clothes, bike parts and rows of food stalls. On fine summer Sunday afternoons the stone amphitheatre on the hill hosts open-air karaoke, with hundreds cheering for total strangers. Up the slope, a graffiti-covered piece of the Wall still stands.
