The home of Belgian painter Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur, who settled in Sanur in the 1930s, now stands as a museum. He married his model, the Balinese dancer Ni Pollok, and the house is hung with his paintings of her and of island life. The wooden Balinese-style buildings have finely carved doors, and the courtyard is quiet. It is small enough to see in under an hour, which makes it an easy add-on to a Sanur stroll.
