The city-centre branch of the German Motel One chain. Despite the name, the ground-floor lounge-bar looks like a design café and the small rooms get regular praise for being bright and clean. The Red Light District, Nieuwmarkt and the Rembrandt House are all within ten minutes, and the harbour lights nearby are a draw at night. The flip side: little stays open around here after 9pm.
