It opened in 2018 on the shore of Qujiang Pool, well south-east of the walled old town. Many of its 372 rooms have balconies over the lake, and guests keep coming back to that view. The starry-ceiling pool, spa and theatrical lobby make it a stay-in-the-hotel kind of place. The trade-off is distance: the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter are a taxi ride away, and the Grand Tang Mall strip is about 4 km off.
