Bus 38A up, city view, then a Heuriger evening

From Heiligenstadt, bus 38A climbs through the wine village of Grinzing and reaches the summit terrace in under 30 minutes. The Danube, the city and the Stephansdom spire lie spread out below. Up top are cafés, restaurants and the St Joseph's church tied to the 1683 Battle of Vienna. Most people ride back down to Grinzing and finish at a Heuriger, a wine tavern. Autumn harvest season is the best time for it.
