Along Northwest Marine Drive, north of UBC

At low tide the water retreats far out and people and dogs wander across the wet sand for ages. Beyond that, the Downtown towers and North Shore mountains line up in a row. The sun sets over the water here, so at dusk locals show up with blankets and folding chairs. The western stretch is the quieter part.
