It bills itself as North America's largest night market and only runs on summer weekend nights. Hundreds of tented stalls line up selling tornado potatoes, squid skewers, bubble tea, takoyaki, Korean corn dogs and the rest of Asia's street-food greatest hits. Richmond has a large Chinese-Canadian community, so half the crowd is local families and it feels more like a neighbourhood fair than a tourist stop. Share a few dishes, browse the trinket stalls and two hours vanish.
