The city's highest hill, about 150 metres, turned entirely into a park. From the summit plaza the North Shore mountains rise behind the downtown towers like a backdrop. The old quarry pits are now sunken flower gardens you walk down into by stone steps, which makes for good photos. In the glass dome of the Bloedel Conservatory on top, parrots and other birds fly loose among tropical plants.
