A converted waterfront warehouse holding 50-plus food stalls. The longest line is usually at A la Mode, which bakes a pastry lid over clam chowder for a pot pie. For dessert, regulars hit Northern Bars for Nanaimo bars in several flavours, Lee's Donuts for honey-dipped rings, and La Bise for canelés. Carry it all out to the waterside tables, where the gulls and buskers are part of lunch. For a drink, try a London Fog, the Earl Grey latte Vancouver invented.
