An old industrial strip under the bridge turned into a market and maker's quarter. Inside the tin-roofed Public Market it's stall after stall of smoked salmon, fruit, bread and cheese, and you carry your haul out to the waterside deck. The concrete plant next door still runs, and its silos are painted with giant figures. Getting there on a bathtub-sized ferry is half the fun.
