For decades this takeout counter has been Toronto's idea of a Jamaican patty. It closed in 2022 and reopened at the same address in August 2024. The star is the beef patty in a golden flaky crust with a peppery filling, and roti is on the board too. There is hardly anywhere to sit, so you take it away and eat it on the street.
