The classic day out from Toronto. Pull on a red poncho, board the boat, slide past the American Falls and nose into the spray at the foot of the Horseshoe Falls, where the roar drowns out whoever's next to you. Up at Table Rock Centre, a lift drops you through the rock to the Journey Behind the Falls tunnels, where portals cut in the cliff look out on a solid wall of falling water. After dark the falls are lit in colour.
