The plaza in front of City Hall, where two curved towers wrap around a round council chamber; from above it looks like an eye, and it's instantly recognisable as Toronto. Beside the reflecting pool stands the big illuminated TORONTO sign, with people posing in front of it well into the night. In winter the pool becomes a free public skating rink.
