The lift takes about 50 seconds to reach the 350 m Tembo Deck, and the city below has shrunk to matchboxes. The Sumida River bends right underneath and Senso-ji's roof is the size of a fingernail. Pay a bit more for the 450 m Tembo Galleria and you walk up a spiralling glass ramp that feels like it's hanging off the side of the tower. At night the whole city turns into a carpet of light; you're high enough that it reads as a sea of lights more than individual buildings. In October 2026 a Chiikawa collaboration is running inside.
