A Taiwanese mala hot pot chain going for over thirty years, whose first restaurant opened in Taichung. The two-storey Gongyi Road branch sits on the city's busiest dining strip, with big windows and an Oriental-zen interior. The default is a split pot of red mala broth and sour pickled-cabbage broth; duck blood and tofu simmering in it are the signatures. Open until 4 a.m., it is a go-to for late group dinners.
