A small shop opened in 2009 by a Shanghai-born owner who spent three years rebuilding the buns from memory. The pork pan-fried buns are soupy inside, and a vegetarian version is filled with bok choy, dried tofu and mushroom. Xiaolongbao, steamed dumplings, shaomai and zongzi are on the menu too. It keeps landing on the Bib Gourmand list, so expect a line.
