A retired Tze-Chiang express car sits on the old Taichung Station platform and now serves coffee. The name comes from the Japanese announcement meaning "arriving shortly". Window seats look out over the old tracks, and the seats and lamps keep the carriage feel. There is no booking, so you wait on the platform until a table frees up, which is half the charm for rail fans.
