A dessert shop that started in Newtown in 2008. Its famous strawberry watermelon cake layers almond dacquoise with rose-scented cream and thick slabs of fresh watermelon, topped with strawberries, pistachios and dried rose petals. The watermelon crunches, so it never feels heavy. In the city, the closest store is on the ground floor of The Galeries by Town Hall. Late in the afternoon, popular cakes can sell out.
