A Xinjiang Uyghur chain on the seventh floor of Super Brand Mall, right next to the Oriental Pearl Tower. Patterned tiles and arches start at the door, and at dinnertime a Uyghur dancer performs in the middle of the room while kids trail after her. The headliners are red-willow lamb skewers, big chunks of lamb on actual willow branches, and big-plate chicken, a stew of chicken, potato and chili you finish by mixing wide noodles through the sauce. Reviewers keep saying the lamb barely smells gamey, so it's a common first stop for people new to lamb. It's halal, so there's no pork.
