A Jiangsu-Zhejiang and Huaiyang kitchen on the ground floor of a three-storey, century-old villa down a Xinhua Road lane. It first won a Michelin star in 2019 and kept it in the 2026 Shanghai guide. In rooms of antique furniture and oil paintings it serves Peking duck and lion's-head meatballs whose add-ins change with the season. The house showpiece, eight-treasure duck, arrives whole, stuffed with glutinous rice, chestnuts, ham, ginkgo and more. The same team runs a second starred branch on the 9th floor of L+Mall in Pudong.
