On the plaza the white facade and bell tower come first. The church stands where the city's old mosque once was, and the orange-tree courtyard is a leftover of it. Inside, Baroque altarpieces stack up in gold. It is the second-largest church in Seville after the cathedral, so the scale is real. The surrounding plaza has cafés and restaurants for a break.
