Heungseon Daewongun's old villa stands on the slope of Inwangsan, with a glass-and-concrete art museum right below it. Leave the galleries and you step straight into a garden of timber pavilions and old pines. The last stretch up to the annex is a short climb, and the ridge view from the top pays it back. Exhibitions rotate, so just check what is on before you go.
