The name that defines Sapporo miso ramen, around since 1964. A layer of lard seals the bowl so no steam rises, and your first careless spoonful will remind you why. The miso is punchy with garlic and ginger and on the salty side, which tastes even better after a few drinks. The original shop is out in Nakanoshima, but this Susukino branch sits on a second floor right by the station. Queues often spill down the stairs.
