A few blocks south of Sapporo Station, a Japanese-style building with a giant crab sign. Snow crab, hairy crab and king crab come as sashimi, steamed, grilled and in kani-suki hotpot, all as set courses. Many tables are tatami or private rooms, good for parents or a special dinner. Shells come prepped or with proper tools, so no fighting with claws. Lunch kaiseki costs far less than dinner, so go midday if you're watching the budget.
