The shop is said to have invented Sapporo miso ramen. It sits in a corner of the fourth floor of a shopping building, so you climb up looking for the sign, which keeps the lunch crowd a little calmer than the street-level queues. Vegetables are stir-fried hard before the miso broth goes in, so sweetness and a toasty, oily smell rise off the bowl together. It closes at 6:30 pm, so do not plan it as a late-night ramen.
