On the caldera side of the road between Fira and Pyrgos, near the turn-off to Athinios port

A winery run by the island's growers' cooperative, where you drink on a terrace at the cliff edge looking over the caldera. Tasting flights group several glasses: Assyrtiko whites from the volcanic soil, sweet Vinsanto made from sun-dried grapes and more. Afternoons are fairly relaxed; at sunset the terrace fills with people who came for the view. You can add plates of local cheese, tomatoes and other island produce, and buy bottles in the shop.
