A small cove ringed by cliffs the colour of rusted iron, with red sand and pebbles to match, so the contrast with the blue water is striking. The catch is that the cliffs keep falling down. The municipality has banned access since 2013 because of rockfall, and in the February 2025 earthquakes a large section collapsed and the land route was shut completely. The realistic options now are walking from the car park to the viewpoint on the headland and looking down, or seeing it from the water on a boat from Akrotiri harbour.
