A small museum holding what came out of Akrotiri. Wall paintings such as the Blue Monkeys and the Ladies hang here with their 3,600-year-old colours still bright, so if you saw only bare walls at the site, this is where it all clicks. Look out too for the jug painted with swallows, the clay tablets inscribed in Linear A, and a palm-sized golden ibex. It's small enough to see in an hour, and handy for filling time before a bus.
