Address: Pier 15 on the Embarcadero, about a 15-minute walk north of the Ferry Building

The whole pier building is a playground. Mirror rooms, tornado machines and gadgets that make sound visible all demand to be spun and pressed before you read a single panel. Kids love it, and adults tend to stay longer. Through the windows the Bay Bridge slides past.
