This ferry terminal opened in 1898. Today the long ground-floor hall is lined with bakeries, cheesemongers, a mushroom shop and coffee bars, with permanent queues at Blue Bottle and Hog Island Oyster Co. On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays a farmers' market sets up around the building, biggest on Saturday mornings. Step out the back and the Bay Bridge is right in front of you; the Sausalito ferries leave from here too.
