On the west shore of the Presidio, at the Baker Beach parking lot

Here you see the bridge from the side, at eye level, not from above. The red tower rises at the far end of the sand, and the view shifts every time you look up while walking. The surf is rough and cold, so this is for walking and sunsets rather than swimming. The north end is clothing-optional, so mind where your camera points.
