An English-style roast-beef house. A server spins a big bowl to toss your salad tableside, then a gleaming silver-domed cart rolls up and carves prime rib to the thickness you pick. Every cut comes with sourdough and butter, the salad, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The thick King Henry VIII cut arrives on the bone, and costs only a few dollars more. The dark, old-pub dining room is always loud and packed, and reservations are so hard to get that many people queue before opening for bar seats.
