Right beside the top station of the Mönchsberg lift

Step out of the Mönchsberg lift and a block of glass and pale stone sits right on the cliff edge. Inside, the contemporary shows rotate, and every window frames the old town roofs and the fortress. The terrace café is worth the trip for coffee alone. The lift is run separately, so it has its own fare.
